June 15th, 2009Over the weekend, ETS attended the Internation Esethics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main purpose of our trip was to gather knowledge about the latest trends in the beauty industry and understand what changes may lay ahead over the coming year for our clients. Overall the convention was really successful and we came back with a great deal of new insight.
We also managed to squeeze a little time at the Ghost Bar…actually a lot of time…somehow we only made it back at 5 am. In all fairness, however, it’s Vegas!
Life as an ETS tech……Part II
June 8th, 2009After the experience at the Travel Lodge in California (read below), we thought it was clear sailing from here out. However, we recently ask some of the same technicians from the California job to deploy to Detroit, Michigan to help the local team with a few local projects.
Shortly after arriving, the technicians were off to the car rental place and were assigned a car that looked a suspicious. It take more than few miles for the tire to blow out.
We guess a good thing that our technicians are just good at changing tires as they are at fixing computers….

Life as an ETS tech……can be dodgey
May 31st, 2009After recently be awarded the bid by Pacific Business Centers for a large IT project in San Diego, California, ETS brought in a few reinforcements from our neighboring territories . Lily, who handles the the travel arrangements for our North American technicians recently selected this fine establishment (we think it received half a star back in 1996 — we are still investigating) as base camp for this project.
The good news was the technicians got free champagne. The bad news was that the internet at the travel adventurer dated back to the mid 80′s. However, as best put by one of the tech’s “my laptop came in handy when having to kill the man eating cockroachs that tried to carry me out of the room.”
Despite the dodgey hotel and life-size bugs, the techs survived, to save the world another day….one computer at a time.
