Norman Fox is a professional architectural space planner specializing in office business center design. He has planned over 100 centers during his nation-wide industry involvement that began in 1988. They have included new start-ups, expansions and reorganizations of existing centers. He has also designed stand-alone buildings for office business center use and is credited for developing unique new space configurations that support changing center environments. He is principal and owner of AoPlan LLC. (www.aoplan.com). AoPlan, which began operation in 2003, is a consulting firm that plans and designs office business centers. It also offers a comprehensive list of supportive services that include equipment procurement, construction coordination and coordination with other consultants on marketing, technology, operational areas.

Norman has been an active member of OBCAI since 1996. He served two years as the associate member representative on the organization's board of directors, and chairman of its education committee. He was cited as the OBCAI associate member of the year in 2002 and again for his contribution as board member in 2004. He has spoken at three Office Business Association International conventions on space design and business center economics. His last presentation in Washington DC in 2005, titled "New Concepts in Office Business Center Design", illustrated future office business center applications that predicted co-work spaces and their relationships to office business center facilities.

His prior professional experience includes 20 years as a successful commercial office planner and furnisher. He was a co-founder and principal of Simon Fox and Company, a design and office furnishing company located in Plymouth Meeting Pennsylvania. His educational background includes degrees from Temple University, a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida College of Architecture and Fine Arts and graduate work in marketing management at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
